Who We Support
Youth Homelessness Demonstration Project Matching Funds
Sisu’s mission is to ensure that youth experiencing homelessness have a safe place to sleep, the security to dream, and the support to make a positive impact on the world. Sisu provides overnight emergency shelter, a drop-in resource center, housing opportunities, and comprehensive case management for unhoused transition-age youth. This funding will be used to sustain and expand critical programming that serves unaccompanied youth experiencing homelessness in Oklahoma City. This project will directly support the staffing and administrative needs required to fully utilize nearly $1 million in annual federal funding through the Department of Housing and Urban Development Youth Homelessness Demonstration Project and related programs.
The Arnall Community Funds are administered through Oklahoma City Community Foundation (OCCF) and provide grants to nonprofit organizations throughout the state of Oklahoma that are working to improve outcomes for individuals, children and families involved with animal welfare and in the child welfare and criminal justice systems. The OCCF staff manages the grant administration process and all grantmaking decisions are made by OCCF Trustees.
