Program Officer, Criminal Justice Reform
Samantha “Sam” Burnett focuses her efforts on the Arnall Family Foundation’s criminal justice reform initiatives where she develops engagement strategies, builds partnerships and oversees program implementation.
Sam previously served as vice president of operations at Central Oklahoma Humane Society prior to joining AFF as program officer. In over 10 years with OK Humane, she was instrumental in pushing the community’s live release rate from 25 percent to 73.8 percent through building collaborative and innovative programs.
Sam earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University, is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City Class 36 and in 2019, was recognized by the Journal Record as an Achievers Under 40 honoree.
