Period OKC is a nonprofit with a simple mission – to provide free menstrual products to people. Period OKC collects monetary and product donations to provide no-cost menstrual products to local aid agencies, schools, etc. that need supplies. Partners sign an MOU to provide the products for free to their clients or students. Menstrual products are not covered by any government assistance programs, such as SNAP or WIC, and these products are not included in most Oklahoma school budgets. Lack of menstrual products in schools can lead to absenteeism. This grant will move schools and school-based entities off the agency’s current waitlist.
