Impact Spotlight: Homeless Alliance, TEEM, Nonprofit Incubator
Our partners do amazing work, and we think it’s important to highlight them for all they do for the people they serve.
Homeless Alliance:
Those experiencing homelessness have found a haven at Homeless Alliance’s Winter Shelter since it reopened in November. In their first month they served 868 unique clients and in December, 1,166 unique clients were served based on their interim report.
Capacity of the shelter is 300 but accommodations are made to help serve more folks during harsh weather. The Winter Shelter hosted up to 350 people during some of January’s coldest nights. During the recent record-breaking cold snap in February, the Winter Shelter hit an all-time high and was able to accommodate nearly 400 people in one night.
The Night Shelter not only helps people survive freezing temperatures, but it is also one of only two low-barrier night shelters in Oklahoma City. The Homeless Alliance also helps connect individuals with various services and case management.

The Employment and Education Ministry (TEEM):
In 2024, TEEM strategically planned 3 visits to the Oklahoma County Detention Center (OCDC) to distribute care packages. Over the three visits, 5,000 community members at OCDC received hygiene products, nutritional snacks, and messages of hope and affirmation.
Volunteers experienced meaningful connections and saw the power of support. Care packages go beyond just giving someone a few items. This interaction provided encouragement to residents while boosting staff morale, strengthening community bonds, elevating understanding, and promoting humanity.

Nonprofit Incubator:
The Nonprofit Incubator (NPI) is a program that helps new organizations learn the fundamentals of nonprofit management through free training sessions. A participant of NPI’s Cohort 2, Hope For The Future (HFTF), received a donation for a new headquarters as a direct result of participating in the program.
HFTF provides a space for families involved in the child welfare system to connect and have supervised visits in a home-like, comfortable environment. NPI helped HFTF’s executive director cultivate relationships leading to the donation of a new building, valued at around $500,000.
