The CARE Center is Oklahoma County’s children’s advocacy center committed to preventing child abuse through education and helping children find their voice and begin to heal after abuse. Providing an interactive experience about the types of scenarios where the Care Center is utilized will better equip the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Council of Voices to provide feedback and to be a community advocate for all of those working within the child welfare system. This also allows the Council to have first-hand experience with the human centered design approach which will be beneficial for a broader number of initiatives.
