Neighborhood Services Organization

Award Date: May 15, 2025
Awarded: $3,730,183

Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO) serves the at-risk and homeless of Oklahoma City through a transitional living program, a low-cost dental clinic, WIC, and a permanent supportive housing program for chronically unhoused adults with mental illnesses. NSO has diligently worked to address the eviction crisis by designing the Stay Housed Tenant Advocacy Center (“Stay Housed”). Services include outreach, court navigation, legal advocacy, stabilization services, and limited emergency financial assistance. Stay Housed will make a meaningful, community-wide change for families facing housing instability by providing navigation and stabilization services to families in need with direct connections to legal advocacy and by raising community awareness.

The Arnall Community Funds are administered through Oklahoma City Community Foundation (OCCF) and provide grants to nonprofit organizations throughout the state of Oklahoma that are working to improve outcomes for individuals, children and families involved with animal welfare and in the child welfare and criminal justice systems. The OCCF staff manages the grant administration process and all grantmaking decisions are made by OCCF Trustees.
