The United Horse Coalition has teamed up with several equine organizations including the American Association for Equine Practitioners Foundation, and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to form an alliance to gather information and data as it relates to equine welfare. The Equine Welfare Data Collective (EWDC) is critical to understanding the current state of the equine welfare segment and how the industry as a whole can continue to help horses in transition.
