Talley Community Services Foundation

Award Date: August 4, 2025
Awarded: $10,000

The Talley Community Services Foundation is dedicated to uplifting children and families through meaningful programs, resources, and community engagement. Its services include back to school programming, family resource fairs, and scholarship programs. It collaborates with local schools, businesses, and community leaders to assist the community with the tools and support they need to thrive. The annual Faded and Educated event provides essential resources such as school supplies, uniforms, lunch, engaging activities, and the invaluable opportunity for students to interact with esteemed community leaders. To foster positive self-images among young boys and girls, skilled stylists and barbers dedicate the day to providing complimentary haircuts to students for their first day back to school. This event goes beyond just receiving a free haircut; it serves as a platform for students to gain confidence, support, and mentorship that will equip them for lifelong success.
