Positive Tomorrows

Award Date: May 15, 2025
Awarded: $90,000

Positive Tomorrows provides educational and social services to children in the program and their families who are experiencing homelessness. It provides education and enrichment programs to children from infancy through 6th grade, offer family support and case management wraparound services to all family members, and foster strong community partnerships to build solutions to problems facing our society. By removing the barriers to housing stability, Positive Tomorrows helps families out of homelessness and reduces the impact of the child welfare and juvenile justice system. With kids safely attending school, case managers work with parents to meet DHS recommendations, attend child safety meetings, and support individualized services plans or family-centered services cases with transportation to therapy, goal related appointments, job interviews, medical services, and housing appointments. DHS can often close cases and prevent child removal by verifying that kids attend Positive Tomorrows.

The Arnall Community Funds are administered through Oklahoma City Community Foundation (OCCF) and provide grants to nonprofit organizations throughout the state of Oklahoma that are working to improve outcomes for individuals, children and families involved with animal welfare and in the child welfare and criminal justice systems. The OCCF staff manages the grant administration process and all grantmaking decisions are made by OCCF Trustees.
