The Oklahoma City Innovation District (OKCID) was created to position Northeast OKC as a regional hub for innovation and economic growth. OKCID fosters collaboration among key industries—healthcare, energy, aerospace, biomanufacturing, and technology—through placemaking, strategic partnerships, and substantive programming. Innovation Week offers OKCPS students hands-on experiences with nearly 30 companies. Students engage with flight simulators, augmented reality, and more, while meeting industry experts, higher education, and career technology partners.
