The focus of Safe Families is to reduce the number of children in foster care; prevent child abuse and neglect; and support families in crisis. Safe Families, Oklahoma will expand current operations by adding a Social Worker. This additional staff member will allow Safe Families to expand our capability of recruiting and training new host families, handling new referrals, and encourage the Family Coach volunteers who walk with the bio-families during this time.
