The Vera Institute of Justice (Vera) works to ensure dignity and justice for people impacted by the criminal legal system. This grant will allow Vera to co-host an economic mobility roundtable in Oklahoma City in the spring of 2024. This event brings key stakeholders in the business, housing, and criminal justice ecosystems together to discuss challenges and opportunities in advancing economic empowerment for people with conviction histories, the impact of these challenges on businesses, and how these issues drive housing instability across the state.
