Freedom City’s primary purpose is to provide equitable access to quality educational programming for underprivileged children who are struggling in reading and math within the public school system. They have developed game-changing programs that have proven to increase student’s math and reading scores an entire grade level in 6 months. This funding is to support the expansion of reading and math tutoring, after-school, and summer programs to include students in Spencer, Oklahoma. Many of the students at Spencer Elementary School, Rogers Middle School, and Crutcho Public Schools have fallen months and even years behind in math and reading proficiency.
