Oklahoma City Metro Literacy Coalition’s (OKCMLC) mission is to lead a collaboration of literacy providers and supporters to strengthen services and present a united voice for literacy in Metropolitan Oklahoma City. The Scrabble Showdown is OKCMLC’s annual fundraiser that features an amateur Scrabble tournament where teams of two compete at one of three skill levels—Novice, Intermediate, or Advanced. The event includes food, drink, a silent auction, and plenty of “word cheats” for sale, all for a good cause.
