Pivot works with youth aged 12 to 24 with overwhelming barriers and no resources to overcome them. They are homeless, alone, are at risk of becoming homeless, live independently without parental supervision, many having aged out of the foster care system or have been involved with child welfare or juvenile justice systems. Following an evaluation of the program and esthetics of The Point at Pivot, modifications were recommended. Among the suggestions is a Housing Manager to focus on identifying appropriate support for youth in the facility related to substance use and addiction issues across the community, in addition to other facility enhancements.
