Arnall Community Fund Award
YWCA of Oklahoma City is the premier certified victims' services provider in Oklahoma County, supporting those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. This transitional housing project provides stable housing and comprehensive support services for young women transitioning out of the foster care system. Focusing on offering trauma-informed care, educational support, job readiness training, and life skills development will ensure these young women can successfully integrate into society as adults. This grant will support facility construction and includes an initial grant of $1.2 million with the opportunity for additional funds to be granted via a one-to-one match for the other funds YWCA can raise for this project up to $800,000.
The Arnall Community Funds are administered through Oklahoma City Community Foundation (OCCF) and provide grants to nonprofit organizations throughout the state of Oklahoma that are working to improve outcomes for individuals, children and families involved with animal welfare and in the child welfare and criminal justice systems. The OCCF staff will manage the grant administration process and all grantmaking decisions will be made by OCCF Trustees. Learn more about the process.
